Sophia + Kamil: A Sneak Peek

This couple. That wedding. A sneak peek at a celebration of both Chinese and Pakistani heritage. The day was personal, it was emotional, it was full of laughter (evident in almost every photo of Kamil) and it was so very, very beautiful.

Ok. Before we go any further, we should probably warn you... Kamil's smile is highly contagious. Possible side effect – a HUGE grin from ear to ear. #truestory

Sophia and Kamil's morning was spent at home. He, in the basement with his best friend and she, upstairs with family. How lovely to prepare for their upcoming nuptials surrounded by all the things and people they love. After Sophia's make up and hair was done in front of the large dining room window, it was up to the third floor to slip into her stunning cream and beaded traditional Pakistani dress with matching veil. The rest of the family gathered outside on the back deck to relax, and take in the gorgeous morning before the drive over to Sunnybrook Estates for the ceremony and reception.

At the Estates and prior to the ceremony, the bride and groom stole away for a "first look" together and watching these two light up at the sight of the other put a gigantic smile on ALL our faces. Their intimate ceremony took place on the lawn against a luscious green backdrop. The subtle blue accents on the chairs and delicate palette of her bouquet were a perfect pairing for the outdoor venue. After cocktails and h'ordeuvres, the guests moved inside for dinner, catered by Sunnybrook Estates and emotional speeches that brought a tear to everyone's eye. (including Sean's) Both Sophia and Kamil have the love and support of an extended family that includes both blood relations and amazing friends. Thank you so much for inviting us to share in your day, our smiles grew with each click of the camera.
